Chat Blocker
Teachers: Want to stop all access to the chatrooms during lesson time? Then download the Virtual-Workspace Chat blocker. Access to the chatrooms will be blocked for the length of time that you specify. When students run the Chat blocker, a “Chat blocked” logo will sit clearly on their screens so that you can check - at a glance, whether Chat has been turned off.
The ICT co-ordinator at your school will need to carry out the simple downloading process. This involves configuring the program before it can be installed on all the school computers.
